The Kentucky Conservation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation dedicated to supporting citizen engagement and conservation efforts through education projects in Kentucky. We were chartered in 1981 to support these public engagement and environmental educational campaigns, working alongside our partner organization, the Kentucky Conservation Committee [a 501(c)(4) advocacy organization founded in 1975]. We work on empowering the public, conservation allies, policymakers and advocates on critical issues affecting Kentucky, including public engagement, conservation, habitat protection, promoting clean energy solutions and pollution of our air and waterways.
